To convey the vision of the Takara Group, “Smiles in Life,”
we have combined the "寶(takara)" trademark,
the symbol of the Group,
with a smiley face in our corporate color blue.
The "寶" trademark is the old Chinese character for "treasure," a
stylized design of “宝,”
and it was first registered in 1897 for mirin.
The character "寶" signifies the act of carefully storing precious items such as gems, pottery,
and valuables inside a safe place.
Like the "寶" trademark that has been used for more than 100
years,
it is something that remains unchanged even as times change.
The Takara Group have embodied our commitment
to cherishing the smiles of our customers into this design.
