Takara Harmonist Fund

This provides subsidies for research and other activities to protect forest, grassland, and waterside natural environments.

Takara Shuzo (now Takara Holdings) established the Takara Harmonist Fund in 1985 to mark its 60th anniversary. Every year since, the Fund has provided subsidies for activities that protect the natural environments of Japan's forests, grasslands, and watersides, and research into protecting the plants and animals living there.
In FY2024, a total of 11 organisations and individuals will be subsidised, including Kazunori Yoneda, who will conduct a project to 'Elucidate the effects of the anthropogenic lowering of the water level in Lake Biwa on the survival of honmoroko eggs'.

This provides subsidies for research and other activities to protect forest, grassland, and waterside natural environments.
