Takara Harmonist Fund

This provides subsidies for research and other activities to protect forest, grassland, and waterside natural environments.

Takara Shuzo (now Takara Holdings) established the Takara Harmonist Fund in 1985 to mark its 60th anniversary. Every year since, the Fund has provided subsidies for activities that protect the natural environments of Japan's forests, grasslands, and watersides, and research into protecting the plants and animals living there.
In FY2025, a total of 10 organisations and individuals will be subsidised, including Hayato Takada, who will conduct a project to 'Mechanisms determining the distribution structure of Japanese serow in Tokyo'. In 40 years, a total of 432 grant recipients have been awarded, with a total of 204,190,000 yen in subsidies.

This provides subsidies for research and other activities to protect forest, grassland, and waterside natural environments.
